Learners don’t get drilled on isolated problems. They build chains of evidence — equations, graphs, tables, word problems, and worked steps — to prove they’ve understood the same concept five different ways.

How we teach

Four learning principles, applied every match.

The curriculum is built on practices that the cognitive-science literature has been converging on for decades. They’re what make the game produce real learning, not just session time.

Retrieval practice

Learners repeatedly recall concept relationships under light pressure, the way actual memory consolidates.

Interleaving

Decks mix related concepts so learners distinguish near matches instead of pattern-matching by topic.

Immediate feedback

Lane picks and final rule answers resolve right away. No waiting for a teacher to grade a worksheet.

Error usefulness

Incorrect answers create progress signals and future practice targets, not penalties.

What learners practice

Five representations of one idea.

Most products drill a single representation — usually equations. Provetree treats every concept as a thing learners must recognize across all five. That’s the fluency that actually transfers to harder math.

Our launch pack covers the core moves of early algebra.

Every concept hides a single rule. The learner studies a clue, picks the matching card from each representation lane, and finally names the rule they discovered. Wrong picks trigger immediate, concept-specific feedback — not a generic “Try again.”

We don’t cover everything in algebra. We cover the core moves a learner needs before tackling Algebra 1 with confidence.
